My name is Anette. From my studio in Norway
I make drawings for children's books and
paint illustrations for clients all over the world.
My colorful pictures makes children and playful
adults smile.
Since the first time my mom let me play with
colored pencils I have filled loads of paper
with my doodles. My head is full of ideas that
turns into happy pictures and fun stories.
In my childhood I used to pet the bees because
they looked soft. If I didn't work on a drawing
or a story, I spent time in my grandmother's
apple trees - with an umbrella in the rain.
It didn't surprise anyone that I chose illustration
as a career. After attending art school and working
as a graphic designer I started my own company
in 2001.

"I got really happy when I saw the illustrations. They turned out better than I could imagine. They are
cute and funny and show the activities in the book. I'm very pleased that Anette is illustrating my book."
- Else H. Devold, author of "En, to - støvel og sko"
"The illustrations looks like candy!"
- Stine Andrea Heggen, librarian Gran library
“I found illustrations made by Anette on the internet and immediately fell in love with them. When I wrote
my own book, Anette was the only illustrator I asked. Her illustrations are warm, cheerful and have great
personality. The colors are beautiful! She shares her knowledge easily and you can feel her positive attitude
all the way. Working with Anette is a pleasure!”
